IRC Menorca is located in the centre of the island in the hills of Sa Roca, which is known for its beautiful walks and tranquillity. As there are no shops or beaches nearby, please ensure that you have all your essentials with you before you arrive.
There are direct flights to Menorca (Maó) Airport from Manchester, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick and other international airports during peak season.
For better deals, it is worth checking out connecting flights via Barcelona and Mallorca.
Once you have booked your flight, please advise us of when you will arrive so that we can arrange your accommodation and meals.
A taxi from the airport will cost around 30€ (5€ for nights, Sundays and fiestas). We recommend Asociación de Radio Taxi Menorca Tel: 971367111.
If the Taxi does not know where the temple is, show them the following:
Si vienes de Alaior, encontrarás el Templo siguiendo el Camí den Kane y desviándote por el camino de Sa Cucanya. Si lo sigues, llegarás a Sa Roca.
When you arrive at the temple, please give us a call and we will come to meet you and take you to the retreat house.
By Bus & Taxi
You can take a bus from the airport to Mahon (Maó) bus station, then another bus to Es Mercadal; both journeys will cost 2.60€.
From Es Mercadal you can call a taxi to take you to the temple costing 20€ (5€ more for nights, Sundays and fiestas).
If you wish to explore the island before or after the retreat then you may wish to hire a car.
There are plenty of car hire companies on the island with competitive pricing, so it’s worth shopping around. Here is a good place to start:
